My transplant journey is rooted in my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I became a Christian in 1985.  At first I struggled with why God was putting me through this ordeal.  However, during the process I know He was with me.  I will share stories that are too much to be coincidence.  Experiences that were true God moments.  Since my transplant I have had God pulling on my heart strings to tell my story.  There is too much negativity in today’s world.  We are all faced with trials and through God’s help you can make it through.  I realize not everyone is a believer, but we are all surrounded with people who encourage us and I will talk about leaning on family, friends and co-workers.  People call me a hero.  I am not a hero.  My donor is my hero.  What I am is a survivor.  It’s human instinct to battle to survive.  I hope my message will give you hope to face the tough moments in your life, either through Faith, Family or Friends.
